In my opinion, you seem to be off on a good start though you need to edit your hand out of some of your scenes. Having the drops scenes are cool when it is not so many of them. I believe you need to take your time to what is going to be your final. You have a lot of material that can be in its on category. My question is how you are going to make it all connect.

the ink drops are really cool, it may need some kind of vector graphics mixed in just to give it a little variety.?
your ink droppings work, Think about how you are going to edit in final cut pro. how will they loop together cohesively.
